Toledo Menu - Know Before You Go

I am sorry to say that a recent dining at Biaggi’s in Toledo was much less than enjoyable. While the food was acceptable (though why my chicken dish was floating in an OCEAN of sauce I do not understand), the total disorganization of the wait staff was not. Aside from the fact that the wine I ordered never came and that the wrong dish was delivered, It was fully an hour after I was seated and ordered that the (wrong) food arrived. The wait after I requested the check was similarly absurdly long. To top if off, the noise level was such that conversation was almost impossible, partly because of the incessant clattering of dishes emanating from the open kitchen.

With the abundance of chain restaurants in Toledo, it is often hard to determine whether or not it is the food we are going for or the confidence that the fare must be good if it is a nationwide chain. Biaggi’s in Perrysburg, although a chain offers tasty Italian fare. As a carb lover, I thoroughly enjoy the bread and oil brought to the table before the meal. But beware, don’t overindulge there because the portion sizes are generous and you won’t want to miss a steaming cup of true Italian cappuccino after your meal.
