Friendly’s is a great family atmosphere. I personally was crushed when they closed the friendly’s at deveaux village in West Toledo. I am a huge fan of the crispy chicken salad! It comes in a plate the size of a hubcap! If you try the salad once you will be hooked!
My wife and I stopped for ice cream and waited at the front counter for about ten minutes without being so much as acknowledged by the staff. One of them was mere feet from us, and couldn’t be bothered from rolling silverware.
We ended up going to Toozer’s on Key Street.
