Rustic Kansas City steakhouse inspired decor and the occasional Jackalope greet you when you come to LongHorn Steakhouse, a friendly place with courteous staff, comfortable settings, and delicious menu items.

LongHorn is owned by Darden Concepts, a company which also owns restaurants familiar to Toledoans like Red Lobster and The Olive Garden.

This is one of the best steakhouses in Toledo/Maumee, and is on our highly recommended list.

We Recommend

A few items in particular keep me coming back. This is top among my favorite steakhouses, and they have very good steaks, including The Renegade, an 8 or 12 oz. sirloin and Flo’s Filet & Crab Bake, but my top menu item choice is the Southern Fried Chicken Salad, topped with delicious fried chicken, spicy pecans, warm cornbread croutons, and bacon honey mustard. The Lobster and Shrimp Chowder is great, with just the right amount of spice, and the Rocky Top Chicken is also very good. Try the Bananas Foster Cheesecake to finish things off.

The service was quite good; efficient and courteous. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable - during

Lyn (Guest Reviewer)

Poco Piatti has some great food, a nice atmosphere, and great servers (well, usually), but it is also fairly expensive to get a meal there that will fill you up.

The secret to Poco is to bring a couple friends, for after all, this is a Tapas restaurant. For those not familiar, this means that most the plates served only include a sampling of the ordered food. You are supposed to order 2-3 of these “small plates” and then share them with friends who, in theory, have done the same
